No sessions appear#
Work through these checks in order. Install status on the Install page tells you whether the script has reported in.
- Visit your site normally Open your website in a normal browser tab, not inside Vision. Accept analytics cookies and browse for at least 30 seconds, clicking and scrolling.
- Check your browser is not excluded If you opened the Exclude my browser link before, your own visits are never recorded. Test from a private window or another browser.
- Check the domain The domain of the site in Vision must match the address in the browser, or be its parent domain (
maison-exemple.comalso coverswww.maison-exemple.com). If Install shows a warning about another domain, add that domain as a site. - Check consent If Install says the script loaded many times but no session was recorded, your consent tool is not granting consent to Vision. See Recording consent.
- Check your Content Security Policy Allow
https://vision.henkanpartners.aiinscript-srcandconnect-src. - Check Google Tag Manager Use a Custom HTML tag with Support document.write turned off, and publish the container.
- Clear caches Clear your site's cache or CDN after adding the script.
A session has no timeline or friction yet#
Timelines and friction tags are added a few minutes after the session ends, and a session ends 35 minutes after the visitor's last activity. Come back a little later.
The replay looks different from my site#
Replays are rebuilt from the recorded page structure and your site's own images and fonts. If an image or font is no longer online, or your site blocks loading it from another origin, the replay can look incomplete. Text in masked areas appears as asterisks by design.
The replay says it expired#
Raw replays are kept for 30 days. The timeline, friction tags and AI summary stay available for 13 months.
A session is labelled as an AI agent but it was a person#
An owner can open the session and select Mark as human. The reverse works with Mark as AI agent. People browsing inside an AI assistant's built-in browser (for example the Claude desktop app) can be labelled as agents.
My own visits are counted#
Open Install > Exclude my browser and open the link in every browser you use. Share it with teammates and agencies.
Frequently asked questions#
Does Vision slow down my site?#
No noticeable impact. The script loads asynchronously, is under 40 KB compressed and sends data in the background in batches.
Can Vision see what visitors type?#
No. Every field value is masked in the browser before it is sent, and password and payment fields are never captured. See Privacy and security.
Does Vision work on single-page applications?#
Yes. The script follows page changes made by your application without full page loads, and a visit across several pages stays one session.
Do AI agent visits use my quota?#
No. They have a separate cap of 2,000 sessions per month. AI crawlers are only counted.
What are demo sessions?#
Sample visits from a fictional fashion store that you can browse with See demo sessions while your own site has no data. They are read-only and do not touch your data. Choose your site in the site switcher, or select Hide demo data, to return.
Can I export data?#
Use Export report on Overview for a CSV of the month's figures, or the REST API for sessions, timelines, summaries and patterns.
